Bloodgood Japanese Maple 2-3’ tall in 1 gallon pot. These maples with their delicate shaped leaves and magnificent color are sought by landscape designers for small and large landscapes. It makes an incredible focal point or accent plant. It will thrive in a large container and work well for small yards, decks or balconies. Gardeners have also pruned Japanese Maple into bonsai for thousands of years. It is at its best in partial shade so do not be afraid to plant it near the house or under taller trees. Once establishes these maples are fast growing at a rate of 1-2' per year. The tree will double in size in 5 years. Site this small tree so it will receive a bit of afternoon shade for best results.
