You are buying one Black Walnut tree in a 4" pot 12 in. tall. When grown in the open Black Walnut trees reach heights of 75 ft. tall with a round low branching open crown that spreads nearly as wide as it is tall. These are self fertile but require wind for pollination. Plant more than one tree to ensure a better crop. Full sun is the ideal condition for this tree meaning it should get at least 6 hours of direct sunlight each day. Mature trees yield a ripened nut crop in early to mid autumn. These also have beautiful yellow fall foliage.The wood from these trees is prized in the wood working world for its handsome grain.
